PML collects your information under the Privacy Act 2020. We may collect personal details when you use our products or services, complete surveys, contact us, use our website, or during recorded calls with customer service, sales, or credit teams. 

This includes info we gather for our clients while providing services.
Calls are generally recorded for training and operational purposes. 

How we use your information

PML may use your personal information to:

• Deliver services for our clients
• Verify identity and manage your account, including billing
• Provide requested services and handle credit checks, debt collection, and credit reporting
• Improve customer service, our website, and our products Contact you about products, services, and promotions

Information security

PML takes reasonable steps to keep your information accurate and secure, with access limited to authorised staff. 

Staff are trained on Privacy Act obligations. We may store data with third-party providers, including cloud services in New Zealand & Australia.

We ensure appropriate security and contractual protections are in place when data is sent overseas. 

NZ law may not apply to overseas providers.

This data will never be on sold by PML and will only will only be retained for the purposes it is acquired for. 

Disclosing your information

PML will not sell or share your personal information except as allowed by the Privacy Act or with your consent. 

We may disclose information to:

• Credit agencies and debt collectors
• Legal, financial, and professional advisors
• Our related companies under the Companies Act 1993
• Any disclosure is made under strict confidentiality.

Contact our Privacy Officer with privacy complaints. 

We’ll acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve issues promptly.
